I was just surprised, perhaps in my ignorance, that a place like 7-11 takes EBT. My concept of EBT was money for groceries, not for buying a bag of Doritos and a bottle of liquor at convenience store markup prices.</description>

		<description>Actually where I live (Edgewater) quite often people offer to buy me food with their stamps in exchange for a little cash.  Presumably they prefer the flexibility.  Naturally I do not make this arrangement.</description>
